The Lake Erie Islands are a major stopping point for songbirds, raptors and waterfowl on their Northern & Southern migrations.

Put-in-Bay or South Bass Island is located in the Western Basin of Lake Erie the fourth largest of the Great Lakes. Lake Erie is 240 miles long. The average depth of the western basin is only 35 feet!

There are over 30 known caves on South Bass Island. Crystal Cave at Heineman Winery is one of the worlds largest known Geodes!

There are 27 islands in Lake Erie. Pelee Island, Canada is only 14 miles from Put-in-Bay.

There are over 20 GeoCache sites on Put-in-Bay! Bring your GPS for a cheap and educational way to entertain your family!!

There are more antique and classic vehicles per capita on Put-in-Bay than anywhere else in the world! Historic and classic cars parade the island roadways and downtown every Sunday afternoon starting at 2 pm.
